All of us Know that Halloween is about to come. And I am waiting for halloween as one of the most enjoyable celebrations.. I started preparations of halloween from Now. Want to share one lil story of halloween.
ORIGIN OF HALLOWEN
Halloween's origins date back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain (pronounced sow-in). 2,000 year ago, Celts lived in the area which is now Ireland and northern France celebrated their new year on Nov 1. The day markd end of the summer and the beginning of the cold winters, a time of death which is often associated with human death. Celts believed that on the night before the new year, the boundary between the worlds of the living and the dead became blurred.
On the night of October 31, they celebrated Samhain, when it was believed that the ghosts of the dead returned to earth.In addition to causing trouble and damaging crops, Celts thought that the presence of the otherworldly spirits made it easier for the Druids, or Celtic priests, to make predictions about the future.
To commemorate the event, Druids built huge sacred bonfires, where the people gathered to burn crops and animals as sacrifices to the Celtic deities. During the celebration, the Celts wore costumes, typically consisting of animal heads and skins, and attempted to tell each other's fortunes.
By A.D. 43, Romans had conquered the majority of Celtic territory. In the course of the four hundred years that they ruled the Celtic lands, two festivals of Roman origin were combined with the traditional Celtic celebration of Samhain. The first was Feralia, a day in late October when the Romans traditionally commemorated the passing of the dead. The second was a day to honor Pomona, the Roman goddess of fruit and trees. The symbol of Pomona is the apple and the incorporation of this celebration into Samhain probably explains the tradition of "bobbing" for apples that is practiced today on Halloween.
In the seventh century, Pope Boniface IV designated November 1 All Saints' Day, a time to honor saints and martyrs. It is widely believed today that the pope was attempting to replace the Celtic festival of the dead with a related, but church-sanctioned holiday. The celebration was also called All-hallows or All-hallowmas (from Middle English Alholowmesse meaning All Saints' Day) and the night before it, the night of Samhain, began to be called All-hallows Eve and, eventually, Halloween.
Even later, in A.D. 1000, the church would make November 2 All Souls' Day, a day to honor the dead. It was celebrated similarly to Samhain, with big bonfires, parades, and dressing up in costumes as saints, angels, and devils. Together, the three celebrations, the eve of All Saints', All Saints', and All Souls', were called Hallowmas.

Friendship

Hey all
I am confused about my friendship. Will anyone can sor out this problem as my best friend always ready to fight with me on small things as I am staying with her in a single flat. I really surprised when these small things much more to her than our friendship.
Yesterday, When I came back from my office, I bring one Friendship card for her to solve our previous fight and makes her feel happy. When I gave it to her, she smiles and feel happy which i want to be but after 1-2 hours, she wants me to bring some household things as i was so much tired at that time. When i refused , she burst out me..
I surprised whats wrong with her. I feel helpless, but told her that I am not going anywhere.

Today is a very beutiful day because today is Janmashtami (a very big festival) which celebrates for the birth of Lord Krishna. This is a colorful festival as people uses colors to decorate their homes and in the evening eveyrone go for prayers.. I would like to share some photographs of Lord Krishna:

Hey all
Today I would like to introduce everyone with 'Therapy of Gifts' . You Know all we love recieving gifts or Giving it to our loved ones. Have you ever feel the feeling of recieving gifts. You might feel that feeling of recieving gifts is different from giving it .
I know you may be into deep thought whats that?????/
Don't worry , I'll explain you in two parts.
Feelings is nothing but are what brain interpret emotions.which are themselves purely physical signals of the body reacting to external stimuli.our internal, emotional regulatory processes not only preserve our lives but actually shape our greatest cultural accomplishments
First Part: Recieving Gift
When you recieve it, First thing comes into your mind and that us. Oh this thing is for me, or this thing is mine. You can feel that whenever you recieve anything your mind gives you a signal about your own thing and your body reacts whatever your mind say. You feel fresh, healthy and mentally in high spirits which brings out your love for your own things or the beautiful things of this world and this metal happiness is good for your health. If you are metally happy and contended then you can experience the difference of life. You can compare the most happiest person and the person who is not happy mentally. You'll find the exact answer.
Second Part: Giving Gift to your loved ones.
When you are purchasing gift for your loved ones then you can see a different charm on your face when you stands on the cards , gallery shop. That's a different feeling which comes into ourselves through our mind.
Next time, when you recieve gift or purchase it , feel the feeling of your mind, body, soul and emotions.
